New Management at sema Systemtechnik GmbH: A Clear Course for the Future

With Dr. Konstantin Beckmann and Niklas Klein-Avink, sema Systemtechnik GmbH is repositioning its executive leadership. The new management team stands for continuity, technological advancement, and a consistent focus on international markets.

This transition takes place at a time when sema Systemtechnik GmbH is actively preparing for the future. With its new company site in Bünde, offering approximately 4,000 square meters of assembly and office space, and a clear strategic focus on its end-of-line packaging portfolio, key foundations have been established for the company’s next phase of growth.

Leadership with Technical Expertise and Strategic Vision

Dr. Konstantin Beckmann and Niklas Klein-Avink have assumed operational management of the company with immediate effect.

Dr. Konstantin Beckmann has been part of sema Systemtechnik GmbH since January 2025 and is responsible for Sales and Engineering. After completing his degree in Mechanical Engineering and earning his doctorate, he led development projects in senior positions. As Managing Director, he will continue to drive the technological advancement of sema’s machinery and further strengthen its unique technical capabilities.

Niklas Klein-Avink will assume responsibility for Commercial Operations and Production as of May 1, 2026. He brings extensive experience from projects in mechanical and plant engineering. After studying Industrial Engineering at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, he completed a Master of Science in Economics at the University of Wuppertal.

Together with the experienced sema team, the new management will continue the company’s successful development. The focus will be on the ongoing enhancement of machine solutions and the expansion of international markets.

Continuity in Transition

The former Managing Directors, Michael Braetz and Volker Wörmann, are stepping down from their operational responsibilities after 16 successful years due to retirement. They will remain closely connected to the company in an advisory capacity, ensuring a reliable transfer of knowledge..
